DUTIES: Specify, quote, procure, debug, and validate production processes for automotive component manufacturing. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow. Design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts. Evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Design part processing and determine machine process specifications. Administer RFQs for machines, gages, and tooling. Create timelines for programs. Participate as a decision maker in cross-functional teams and meetings. Analyze production processes for capacity. Drive continuous improvement. Perform machine runoffs and time studies. Provide operator training. Participate in the production of AQP documentation. Perform machine and gage programming. Use CAE and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
REQUIREMENTS (applicants with any suitable equivalent combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable): Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering required. 3 years experience in the job described or as a Manufacturing or Assembly Engineer. Experience must include: Specifying, quoting, procuring, debugging, and validating production equipment processes within the automotive industry; performing predictive and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment; application of Allen Bradley PLC tools; use of Cognex Vision system, including DataMan barcode vision hardware and software; Fanuc robot with assembly process integration; ergonomic design standards with lean manufacturing emphasis; machine tool design from design through fabrication; DFM/DFA; APQP with DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions; use of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MiniTab software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
