Summary:
Responsible for the execution ofdefined material schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercialproducts.
Plans and prepares preparation ofmaterial schedule.
Coordinates and expedites flow ofmaterials between sections or departments.
Act as a liaison between customerand BW and coordinates follow-up activities to ensure high service level.
Scope of position is defined bybasic problem solving and the relation to the overall assignment or project.
Objectives are defined andapproach is negotiated.
Work is generally not supervisedin detail.
Review of work is based ontechnical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy at interim points.
Key Roles andResponsibilities include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned.
Executes the material plans and schedules for eachdepartment and operations according to manufacturing goals.
Adjusts material schedules and plans according toproduction planning and status.
Reviews materials planning schedules to determinematerial orders and purchasing.
Prepare inventory records and reports on consumptionof raw materials, quality control, and other aspects of material control.
Writes materials reports based on data compiles,tabulated, and computed.
Coordinates with other Schedulers the optimum flow ofthe materials supply according to the area of responsibility.
Organizes materials flows and inventory to reachproductions targets and work in process goals.
Assists in execution of stock taking within the areaof responsibility.
Stock controlling / optimization within the area ofresponsibility.
