Job Duties:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide leadership and direction to the Logistics function placing specific emphasis in the continuous improvement of all aspects of operations and material flow. Implement and manage pull production systems for manufactured and purchased parts. Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product. Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities. Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area, and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel. Performs special research or technical studies critical to logistic support functions. Utilizes computer techniques for analysis, simulation or information systems and documentation. Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records: Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material. Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, production departments, and field service personnel, and resolves problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of contractual commitments. Develops and initiates preparation of handbooks, bulletins, and information systems to provide and supply logistics support. Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for a highly motivated manufacturing professional for a challenging position as a manufacturing Logistics Engineer. The successful candidate will fill a critical role at our Seneca SC manufacturing facility and will be responsible for production logistics in support of manufacturing and assembly operations. Directs and coordinates the production planning, customer service, shipping and receiving, material control and inventory control functions. Works integrally with external and internal technicians/engineers and other plant personnel on the development of new and the analysis of existing systems, processes and methodology, and material handling/storage equipment to continuously improve material flow. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
